When you ordered your Emery Thompson machine, could you tell me what electrical option you asked for to use in the UK; was it single phase 50htz? Could you also tell me if you know the overrun produced from your CB 200?

Hi there Kenny!
Thanks for getting in touch. Yes the CB-200 that I am using in the U.K is 50Hz. The CB-200 and CB-350 only come in single phase. I’ve measured the overrun at about 60%, although it is difficult to get a precise overrun reading.
I’m actually considering selling the CB-200 that I have. Please let me know if you would be interested in this.
All the best,

Great site and I have learned a lot from it and continue to.
A question if I may. I am approaching retirement age and thinking of options. I make Ice Cream at home with a Cuisinart ICE 30 and have been toying with the idea of something similar to you as in small batches on a commercial basis.
I noticed you have (had?) an Emory Thompson CB-200 which you are willing to sell. Are you unhappy with it? Did you ever do a write up on it? Emory Thompson is pretty close to me as its in the U.S.A. and I’m in the Carribbean.
I’m no expert but it seems they spin too fast to me but whats your take on it?
Is there an Emory Thompson you would recommend?
My thoughts so far lean towards the Lello Musso Paolo 5030.
