Hello, my girlfriend and i just but the ice cream attachment for the classic (275 watts) Kitchenaid standing mixer, we are new in this kind of cooking; we wanted a little feed back of the machine and any advices of how can we make it work better.
The ice cream tends to get frozen on the sides and the bottom of the bowl, which we heard, it’s not very good for the ice cream because does not spread the cold in a very uniform way.

Welcome to the forum! I haven’t tried the KitchenAid ice cream attachment yet but I’m hoping to get my hands on one next month. I’ll report back then.
Until then, I hope you’ll get some feedback here from other ice cream enthusiasts.
All the best, Ruben

Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the picretus aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome.

Hi again Paconator!
I’ve put up a review of the KitchenAid KAICA Ice Cream Maker Attachment; better late than never!
Hope that helps.

Same problem trying to make lemon frozen yogurt: froze on the sides & bottom, stopping the blades, so had to quit before it broke. Would live to know why. I’ve successfully made heavy cream based recipes, but wanted 1 with less calories.
