Hi there, your writing is an inspiration. I want to start up a homemade ice cream business and i would like to ask you, Which ice cream machine should i use? Is cuisinart ice100 is enough? Or should i use a bigger capacity machine?

I have been using this machine for two years; I make ice cream 2X to 3X per month. Every six months or so I go on an ice cream making binge. This is where the Cuisinart really shines. You can makes one after another. I find that I can increase the liquid a bit and end up with enough ice cream to fill two complete pint-sized plastic containers with a bit left over. Am a big fan of this maker.

Good luck to you Daisy.
I am thinking about doing the same in India. If so I hope to purchase several spare buckets for the ice cream maker to speed things along.
Having read the Anerican Amazon reviews is leading me to thinking the Cuisinart 100 may work. Still I am still looking into it.
I will need to find a good chest freezer in India to store the ice creams without adding to many ice crystals whilst in storage.
I’m just starting this learning curve and I hope it goes well for us all.
I look forward about discussing such things.
Kind regards, Alex.

I have owned this machine for three years and I’ve made about 100 batches of y,ice cream using it. On several occasions I have made more than one batch per day. It performs very well. I have used the recipes in Jeni’s Cookbook most of the time, with good results. After reading the review today, I plan to use smaller batches so it will freeze faster. Good luck.
